You’ve probably heard there are quite a few things you’ll have to do if you’d like to help your child enjoy a healthy smile. For example, you might already know you should encourage your child to exercise and help them eat healthy foods. Of course, you should also pay attention to how your child’s teeth are progressing, but do you do you know when you should expect your little one’s teeth to come in or fall out?
Most children actually have their first tooth erupt when they’re around six months old, but please don’t be worried if your child’s first tooth starts to erupt a little later. You should also expect your child to have all their teeth by the time they’re three years old.
Your little one should also start to lose their teeth when they’re around six years old and their last tooth should fall out before they’re twelve. If your kid loses a tooth when they’re too young, usually younger than five, please contact our team as soon as you can. You should also remember to schedule an appointment with our team if your child doesn’t lose a tooth before they turn eight.
